The Workforce Insights Report 2023 will look at the sport and physical activity workforce post-pandemic and against a backdrop of the current economic challenges.

Utilising a richer set of insights compared to previous versions, this report provides a comprehensive update on the sector workforce changes and trends over the last three years with new levels of depth in terms of how diverse and representative it is of our workforce and where people work, whether that be for an employer or in their own business.

Whilst the sector is in a positive place, this report does highlight the very real and significant challenges that we face, such as changes in both customer and workforce expectations, advances in technology, recruitment and retention, and understanding of career pathways and progression opportunities.
