- We provided continually updated guidance on behalf of the whole sector – frequent and authoritative advice to employers and individuals throughout the pandemic.
- We signposted the important government guidance from our Stronger Together online hub.
- Our guidance and projects such as ReTrain and ReActivate helped sector employers support their team and customers.
- Our education team supported our partner training providers and awarding organisations with practical guidance on delivering learning and assessment during the pandemic.
- Working with partners, we developed new sector policies that took Covid-19 into account, but also took into account the post-pandemic environment, such as our delivering sport online policy.
- Within weeks of the first lockdown starting in Spring 2020, CIMSPA started planning for supporting the sector to ReOpen its operational facility base across sport, leisure and fitness.
