CIMSPA Stronger Together - support for our sector
Representing everyone working in sport and physical activity
- CIMSPA worked with pace and impact from the outset of the pandemic, acting as an effective advocate for the sport and physical activity sector at the highest levels of government and society.
- We worked in partnership with other sector bodies including ukactive and Community Leisure UK to lobby the government to support the sector and we provided timely and effective guidance for all.
- Our status as a key partner of Sport England enhanced our access to government and its delivery agencies, particularly with DCMS, and we mirrored this approach across the devolved nations.
CIMSPA designed and delivered this project as part of our Stronger Together Covid-19 support strategy, funded by Sport England, on behalf of the sport and physical activity sector.
