About Safeguarding
At CIMSPA, the safety and wellbeing of all individuals participating in sport and physical activity are paramount.
Safeguarding ensures that every participant, whether a child, young person or adult, is protected from harm and provided with a safe, inclusive environment. We believe that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we are committed to fostering an environment within the sector where everyone can thrive.
Our Adults Safeguarding Policy and Children and Young People Safeguarding Policy offer guidance to help safeguard from any risk and provide the best support available. The policies are based on guidance from the Ann Craft Trust and Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU).
By prioritising safeguarding, we aim to create a welcoming environment where all participants can enjoy the benefits of sports and physical activity, free from harm, neglect or abuse.
Together, we can ensure that sport and physical activity remains a positive, safe experience for all.
Who can CIMSPA respond to concerns about?
